Smottopian Halloween
We had a delightful Halloween. We decorated the house, carved a pumpkin, roasted pumpkin seeds, handed out candy to trick-or-treaters, ate plenty of candy ourselves, and to top it off watched the movie "Halloween." That is a tradition of mine; I love that movie and watch it every year. I think this is the 12th year in a row. For those of you who think it is just another slasher movie, I suggest you re-watch it. It was the first of its kind, and the best. The long shot that begins the movie is a classic and the 70s fashions are amazing.
Some of the decorations we put up. The sign in the window says "trick or treat." The ghost hanging from the tree looks pretty scary at night when you get up for a feeding at 3am and are half-asleep!
