DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN

As part of getting ready for baby we finally got around to repainting our bathrooms. This was something we've wanted to do every since we first walked into the house and it took us more than two years to finally get to it. The results are great but it took many hours of hard work and there were a few bumps along the way...

A "before" shot: ugly bare wood wainscoting with huge green chair rail thing and very off-white walls.

Here is Mark hard at work.

Oops. That wasn't part of the plan. Apparently you aren't supposed to overtighten the nuts on the base of the toilet when you re-install it. Who knew? We had to buy two new toilets but at least it was a good excuse to switch to low-flow efficient toilets.

Yay! All done and looks great.
