We only spent 30 hours in Paris but somehow managed to see everything we wanted to: the Louvre, Notre Dame, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomph, Eiffel Tower, and Sacre Coeur. Pretty good considering about 10 hours were spent sleeping and another 8 or so at the venue for load in/soundcheck/show/load out/etc. The trick is to not actually go inside anything, and to take taxis everywhere. ;-) The latter is probably only really necessary if you're doing all this while 5 months pregnant. And we had the most delicious chocolate crepe on the Champs-Elysees--yum.

Gretchen I love your blog. It's great to get caught up on all you've gone through in this 40 week whirlwind so far. And I thought I had it bad when Reagan was out of town and a snake was crawling in our house after 10 o'clock at night. You're amazing and more than deserve the rest and relaxation that I hope the trip continue to be. Have a safe return.
